I. Public Holidays
(1) The Gurus shall oversee the planning and running of relevant events.
(2) Current list of Holidays:
- Founding Day: Celebrated to recognize Karmas’ Founding. Date: May 26th
- Refounding Day: Celebrated to recognize when Karma re-established its government under the reformed Guidance. Date: April 21st.
II. Regional Orders of Distinction
(1) Those who perform exceptionally in regional activities will be named to an “Order of Distinction”.
(2) Orders of distinction shall include:
- Order of the Monkey: Jiva who have contributed something of significance to the culture of Karma.
- Order of the Horse: Jiva who have gone above and beyond to build a relationship between Karma and another region.
- Order of the Dragon: Jiva who have proven to be great leaders or seasoned participants in military campaigns
- Order of the Crane: Enlightened who have shown continued involvement in creating quality, useful, and generally important legislation.
- Order of the Ox: Enlightened who have helped and supported the community of Karma as a whole the most.
- Order of the Panda:Jiva who have contributed significantly to the Karma's graphics or artworks.
- Order of the Dove: Jiva who have contributed significantly to Karma’s representation in the World Assembly
- Order of the Golden Lotus: Karma’s highest order of distinction. This may be awarded to those Enlightened who have gone beyond all reasonable expectations to contribute to Karma in a way that has had a fundamental, positive, long lasting impact on the region.
- The Enlightened shall come to a majority vote on whether or not to allow the distinction.
- This vote may be overruled by a 2/3 majority vote of the Sages.
- The minimum voting period shall be one day. The procedures on waiving the minimum voting period apply.
(4) Distinctions may be taken away by the Sages.
- The Sangha may also take away a distinction with a 3/4 majority vote. Provisions on the minimum voting period from the Section (3)c apply.
- Distinctions may be taken away as punishment for in-character crimes.
- Jiva shall always lose an honor if it is part of the punishment for out-of-character transgressions.
(5) Jiva within an Order of Distinction that CTE shall be allowed to retain their distinguished status
